## A new collaborative partner

Instead of listening to a podcast, I chatted with Chat GPT. I went on an hour-long walk after work with my headphones on, asking the chatbot questions the whole time.

ChatGPT's mobile app offers a convenient feature in the bottom right. Simply select it, and you can verbally speak your chat prompt, instantly listening to the answer. This allows you to seamlessly ask a follow-up prompt, enhancing your brainstorming process with efficiency and ease.

I started with a vague, high-level question. "How can I automate a workflow with AI that tells me about market trends for my clients?"

It mentioned using Zapier, a popular automation tool. So I asked follow-up questions about how to set that up step-by-step. Then what the best RSS readers would be to feed into Zapier?

By the end of my walk, I had embarked on a transformative journey. ChatGPT guided me in exploring new approaches, tools, and use cases. It had become my brainstorming partner, helping me to tackle my specific challenge in a unique and innovative way.

### Brainstorm Use Case:

Ideate new approaches to a challenge you're facing. Find a room with a whiteboard. Or go for a walk. Use ChatGPT to ask open-ended questions as if kicking off a brainstorming session with a partner.

Start broad. "How can I use AI tools to send me market trends about my clients at work?" "How could I automate this?"

But then add constraints. "How could I experiment doing this in an hour?" "How could I do this if I don't have any technical skills?" "How could I do this without paying for any tools?"

Explore alternative approaches. "Which of these approaches is most likely to succeed?" "How would this work with X tool instead of Y tool?" "How could this be simpler?"

Explore how best to communicate the solution you just came up with. "What metaphor could I use to explain this to my boss, who is not technical and is risk-avoidant?"

Want to learn something? Instead of trying to find a podcast on that niche topic, try asking a prompt to start learning. For example, you could ask, 'What are the [key principles of AI](https://techmba.ai/tech-mba-blog/ai-will-be-1000x-smarter-than-humans-soon)?' or 'How does blockchain work?

When your curiosity peaks at a specific point in a podcast, such as the 3rd point out of 5 in a list of key concepts, ask for more details on it. After you understand the concept, ask for a step-by-step plan on how to execute it.

Adjust the details to be simpler and explain things like a 5-year-old. Or go deeper as if you have a PhD in the subject.

Make it more concise with a business tone. Or to teach you a business topic through a fiction story with characters and flowery language.
